Land Rover are recalling Discovery Series II Td5s between VIN serial numbers 736101 and 865281 (5130 vehicles).
The fuel line has the potential to chafe against the ABS/water sensor and fuel pump harnesses, which over a prolonged period of time could result in a fuel leak and the vehicle failing to start.
Land Rover are undertaking a rolling recall, if you have an affected vehicle you should hear from you dealer soon. If you do not hear from you dealer you should contact them to have the remedial work (approx 2 to 3 hours) carried out as soon as possible. |
